Frequently Asked Questions
How long does delivery take?
Due to current Sydney lockdowns and increase in covid cases, we have temporarily deactivated express postage and limited our postage trips. We will make the trip to the postie twice a week (Tuesday & Friday). Where we can, we use Auspost to deliver our orders, if we can not get to them, we will use a private courier service.
Ready made items are shipped within the week, personalised items and frames can take between 1-4 weeks depending on stock availability.
I received a shipping confirmation but my parcel didn't arrive
Please contact Australia Post on 13 76 78 and quote your tracking number. Often parcels may be awaiting collection at your local post office. If Australia Post cannot locate your parcel, please contact us and we can lodge and inquiry for you.
There are items missing from my delivery, what do I do?
If your ordered items are large, your delivery may have been shipped in multiple parcels. Please contact us if you have a missing item. In the rare case that we may have missed an item in picking, we will send out a replacement straight away.
Do you have a store or showroom I can visit?
At the moment we do not have a showroom or store, we do have pop up markets from time to time but will disclose that on our website.
What is the difference between gold foil and gold colour?
Foil finish has a shiny, reflective finish, it looks like flakes of gold or silver. Colour finish is a matte finish, no shine just the metallic look.
How are your frames measured?
Our measurements are in cm, when referring to the sizing of our frames, we are referring to the print space, not the size of the frame.
eg- "A4 frame" refers to an A4 print in a frame meaning the frame will be slightly bigger than a4
Do you offer custom design jobs?
Anything is usually possible – just ask and we will give it a go!
Do your frames come with stands or hanging hooks?
All out A4 and smaller frames have stands on the back which allow for easy displaying. Our bigger frames don't usually come with stands, unless they are a limited run, or special frame (will be listed in description) and can be hun up using 3M tabs.
Why is the first burn so important?
Candles have a memory and to create the memory (to avoid tunnelling) the first burn must be to the sides of the glass until all the wax on top is melted. This can take 2-4 hours depending on the size of the candle.
Can I re use my candle, diffuser and room mists and room spray glass?
Yes, you can re-use your glass jars & bottles.
To clean the candle jar - fill with boiling water and leave to set, any wax will then rise to the top, allowing it to be easily removed. (Dispose of sensibly. DO NOT pour liquid wax down your drains.) Wash jar with clean soapy water or some type of abrasive cleaner (Jif/Ajax) re-use for any desired purpose or place in recyclable bin for environmentally friendly disposal.
To clean diffuser, sprays and mist bottles - Wash jar with clean soapy water or some type of abrasive cleaner (Jif/Ajax) re-use for any desired purpose or place in recyclable bin for environmentally friendly disposal. Discard reed sticks.
How often should I flip the diffuser reeds?
The reed diffuser sticks can be flipped when you want an extra burst of fragrance or when you notice there is no scent. Some people choose to flip daily while others choose weekly. Be careful not to drip any as it can react with some surfaces. Be sure to clean any spillage immediately.
Safety recommendations for diffusers
Do not ingest oils. Place jar on a coaster or plate. Use caution when flipping your reeds as oils can damage surfaces. Do not light reeds. Be careful not to tip over the diffuser. Keep out of reach from children and pets.
Are reed diffusers environmentally friendly?
Our reed diffusers are environmentally friendly, long lasting and slow releasing. They are a safe way to scent a room with no open flame or hot wax. They can be classed as vegan friendly as they are mostly made up of synthetic ingredients and are not tested on animals. Our diffuser base does not contain phthalates or parabens.
Can I re-use my reed diffuser reeds?
We do not recommend the re-use of reed diffuser sticks, especially when you switch to a new fragrance and if the reeds become clogged with dust. If you have no scent after turning your sticks, they may be clogged and so you will need to replace the sticks to have the scent going again.
What is in your fragrance oils?
Our room spray & diffuser fragrance oils consist of many aromatic ingredients, some natural and some synthetic, blended to our specifications. Natural components are extracted from plants or flowers and synthetic components are manufactured from man-made materials. Our fragrances contain synthetic ingredients to optimise room spray results. Only using natural ingredients (such as essential oils) is restrictive with what you can create. Essential oils are not stable and do not give you a good scent throw. Our fragrances are therefore a combination of essential oils and synthetics.
Pregnancy Safety
The information available for fragrance safety and pregnancy is inconclusive. Testing on fragrances is limited to skin sensitivity only. There is no data available on the effects on pregnant women. All material used in the production of fragrances is safe for use according to the International Fragrance Research Association (IFRA). None of our fragrances contains phthalates or parabens, and none of the ingredients is animal derived.
How long will a room spray last?
The average shelf life of room spray is about 8 months to one year. When sprayed in the air, fragrance longevity depends on how much product is sprayed, the area's ventilation, and the existence of odour in the air prior to using the product. It is dependent on time, temperature, and exposure to air and light. We recommend that you store room sprays in a cool dark place away from light and heat.
